Among them, Baotou Steel United (Tianjin) Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has implemented the "zero-carbon channel steel + full-category steel" strategy, achieving a year-on-year increase of 23.7% in channel steel export volume. Profile steel products such as seamless steel pipes and I-beams simultaneously cover infrastructure projects along the "Belt and Road" in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The total annual export volume of steel has exceeded 1.5 million tons, and the proportion of green products has reached 40%.
HBIS Group: Hydrogen metallurgy technology reshapes low-carbon benchmark for channel steel
Based on the world's first 1.2 million tons coke oven gas zero-reforming hydrogen metallurgy demonstration project, HBIS Group has reduced the carbon emission of channel steel production to 1.8tCO₂/t, a reduction of 70% compared with traditional processes. Its Q355D weather-resistant channel steel has obtained EU EPD certification and is applied to the photovoltaic support system in Xiong'an New Area, and the salt spray resistance life is increased to more than 15 years. Zero-carbon electric arc furnace production line realizes nearly zero emissions in the smelting process of products such as channel steel and I-beam. Its Z35 grade tear-resistant channel steel has successfully won the bid for the Sichuan-Tibet railway tunnel project. The supporting API 5L X70 seamless steel pipe is used in the Central Asia natural gas pipeline, with an annual order volume of more than 200,000 tons. In addition, the company's precision round steel (20CrMnTi) is exported to the Southeast Asian automotive gear market. The profit margin is increased by 20% compared to traditional products, forming a "channel steel + high-end profiles" synergy effect.
Jinxii Steel: Hot-rolled steel sheet piles lead the global high-end market.
Jinxi Group takes hot-rolled steel sheet piles and H-shaped steel as the core and occupies more than 35% of the domestic market share. Its Z-shaped steel sheet pile breaks through the technological monopoly of Europe and the United States. The low-temperature impact energy reaches -30℃ and is applied to energy projects in North America. The export volume has increased by 68% year-on-year. At the same time, Jinxi jointly developed a channel steel-I-beam combination package for prefabricated buildings with Baotou Steel United. It accounts for more than 50% in the zero-carbon building complex in Xiong'an New Area and promotes a 30% reduction in carbon emissions for steel structure buildings.
